This stocking has been made from muslin and measures 26 1/2 inches not including the loop for hanging. I have added a piece of heavy linen which I stitched a santa and the year 1763. I added a strip of ticking to the top. It has been aged. I have two available with santa wearing a barn red robe and one with a blue robe. I just finished this wonderful Merry Christmas hanging sampler from a PineberryLanepattern & I love how it turned out. Santa is giving Rudolph a ride in his sleigh. This sampler has been stitched on 28ct. over 2 threads with drab browns, greens, grays and red and is backed with drab green wool. I've attached 3 rusty jingle bells to the bottom. It is hanging from some grungy crochet cotton thread. It is stuffed with 2 layers of quilt batting and measures 10 x 6 inches. I have lightly stained it with walnut ink crystals.
